AMA Eagles
What is AMA EAGLES?
Join the hundreds of dedicated AMA members who have
decided to soar higher for motorcycling by attending an AMA
EAGLES Leadership Academy. All workshops are conducted by
AMA staff members. An updated curriculum includes extensive
information about AMA history, structure, finances, activities,
communication and government relations. Classes are designed for 30 to 40
participants.
Why should I attend?
EAGLES means Education, Activism, Growth, Leadership,
Expertise and Skills. In addition to the
valuable information imparted during the workshops, you’ll
gain an opportunity to meet and share ideas with other
dedicated AMA members. Many who have gone through this
rewarding program have moved on to important volunteer
leadership positions within the AMA.
What does it cost?
Nothing for this special program, which includes lunch on the first day, an evening social
hour, continental breakfast on both days and all of your workshop
materials.
What if I've attended an EAGLES seminar before?
We invite previous AMA EAGLES Leadership Academy
graduates to take part in our one-day Academy as a refresher and
to learn the latest info about the AMA.
What's the schedule and how to I register?
EAGLES seminars are currently scheduled for 1/18/03 in Folsom, Calif., and
12/14/02 in Minneapolis, Minn. Stay tuned for the complete 2002/2003 schedule,
or contact Sharon Titus at (614) 856-1900 ext. 1252 or stitus@ama-cycle.org
for more information.
