How do I get to VMD?
Take Interstate 71 to exit 165. Go west on Route 97 about 5 miles to Steam Corners Rd. Turn left to the track. Vendors and competitors use Gate 3. Spectators use Gate 1. Or, take U.S. 30 to Route 314 south. Take 314 south to Steam Corners Rd. Turn left and go one mile to the track.

How do I get tickets for VMD?
Call 1 (800) MID-OHIO or visit the Mid-Ohio website.

If I am an AMA member, do I get a discount at VMD?
AMA members receive a $5 discount at the gate on weekend tickets by showing their AMA membership card. However, discounts for advance purchases are also available to everyone at the Mid-Ohio website.

Do you have a list of hotels near VMD?

Can I camp at VMD?
Yes. Camping opens Thursday night at Mid-Ohio. Call (800) MID-OHIO for details.

Is there RV camping at VMD? Is there an RV dump station?

How do I become a swap meet vendor at VMD?
If you are selling bikes, parts, memorabilia or literature, you can become a vendor. Download an application form (pdf) and send it in to reserve your spot, or call AMA Member Services at (800) AMA-JOIN for more details.

How much are swap meet spaces at VMD?
The prices for Enthusiast and Prime spaces are $175 and $225, respectively.

Do AMA members receive discounts on swap meet vendor spaces?
Yes. AMA members receive a $25 discount on each swap meet space they purchase. Non-members who join the AMA when they fill out their swap meet vendor applications will also receive the AMA member discount.

What do I have to do to race at VMD?
You have to be an AMA member and an AHRMA member. For AHRMA membership, call (715) 842-9699, or visit the AHRMA website.

When and where are the dirt track races at VMD?
Friday night, July 25 at Ashland County Fairgrounds. AHRMA Dirt Track heat races begin at 6 p.m.

How do I get to the Ashland Dirt Track Races?
From Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course: Turn right out of the track on Steam Corners Road to State Route 314 (1 mile); right on 314 to U.S. 30 east. (5 miles); east on U.S. 30 to U.S. 42 north (7 miles); north on U.S. 42 to Claremont Ave. exit (6 miles); Claremont Ave. to fairgrounds on left (1 mile); all mileages approximate.
From Interstate 71:
I-71 to exit 186, U.S. 250, Ashland; west on U.S. 250 to U.S. 42 south (1.5 miles); south on U.S. 42 to Blaney Rd. (4 miles); right on Blaney Rd. to Claremont Ave. (1/2 mile); right on Claremont Ave. to fairgrounds on left (200 yards).

Is dirt track admission included with my VMD ticket?
No. Spectator admission fee at Ashland is not included with your VMD ticket cost. Spectator admission for Ashland Dirt Track: $15, pit pass $10 additional charge.

Are advance tickets available for the Ashland Dirt track Race?
Yes. Box seats are $25. Seats are available in advance only by calling AMA Member Services at (800) AMA-JOIN.

Will there be a dinner ride to the Ashland Dirt Track Races?
Yes. There are two ticket packages for the Dinner Ride:
1. Box Seat Dinner Package: $40 includes the ride, VMD pin and a box seat ticket for the AHRMA/VMD Vintage Dirt Track Races.
2. General Admission Dinner Package: $30 includes the ride, VMD pin and a general admission ticket for the AHRMA/VMD Vintage Dirt Track Races.

Dinner ride tickets are available in advance only by calling AMA Member Services at (800) AMA-JOIN.

Do I have to ride to get the dinner at the Ashland Dirt Track Races?
No. Prices are the same as above.

Will there be bike shows at VMD?
Yes. The Ride ‘Em, Don’t Hide ‘Em Ride and Show on Saturday features a 50-mile ride for all brands of bikes made before 1987, followed by a show in the infield judged by the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum staff. The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Show takes place on Saturday AND Sunday. All brands of motorcycles 1987 and older are eligible. Saturday’s show features American and European machines, with British and Japanese bikes taking center stage Sunday.

Will there be pre-registration for the bike shows at VMD?
A pre-registration application is available online (pdf).

How much does it cost to enter a bike in the bike shows?
The cost is $15 for your first machine and $10 each for additional bike
before June 29, 2008; $20 and $15 at the event.

How do I buy or sell at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame auction?
You can download an auction consignment form here. If you need detailed advice about how to complete the application, you should contact Will Stoner at (614) 856-1900, ext. 1227. Deadline for consignments to be included in the catalog is April 28. To be included on the mailing list for the auction catalog, contact Lynda McReynolds at (614) 856-1900, ext. 1287.
