AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman presents the award to Dana Bell.
AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman presented Dana Bell of the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council with a special achievement award for her dedication fighting for the rights of motorcyclists.
Specifically, the award honored her for her efforts "to promote safety, ethics, access and a positive image for motorized recreation."
Dingman presented the award during the NOHVCC Annual Conference March 25-30 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Bell most recently served as program development coordinator at NOHVCC, working with off-highway vehicle enthusiasts nationwide, and building relationships with government to develop and improve OHV programs.
Before joining NOHVCC in 1999, Bell served as the AMA's Western States representative for six years, monitoring issues and legislation affecting motorcyclists.
From 1975 to 1990, Bell rode enduros competitively. She continues to be an avid dual-sport rider.
