New benefit for MoTow subscribers makes it easy to get the best deals on hotel rooms
when you're on the road
For many of us, the ideal multi-day motorcycle trip involves
following our whims all day and stopping for the night when the time
feels right. No schedules, no commitments.
Of course that also means no reservations. And that's when the
romance of the open road collides with the harsh realities of needing a
place to stay and not wanting to pay too much.
The newest benefit for AMA members with MoTow Roadside Assistance
makes it easy to travel on your own schedule and still book a hotel room
at the lowest possible price.
AMA members enrolled in MoTow can now call a toll-free
phone number and speak to a live human who's tapped into the same reservation system that powers online
hotel reservation websites expedia.com and hotels.com. The operator
can search for the best deal and get you discounted prices on hotel rooms,
even
including same-day reservations.
And, if you are the plan-ahead type, you can use the same system to
make online reservations in advance and save even more money. Because if
you book online, you can also download a coupon for a mail-in rebate of
5 percent for one- or two-night stays, and between $20 and $100 for
longer stays.
All these benefits are now available at no additional costs to AMA
members who sign up for MoTow Roadside Assistance. MoTow is already a
good deal. Just $25 a year covers 24-hour towing and emergency services.
And for $59.95 a year, MoTow Plus covers your cars, pickup trucks, and
trailers, as well as your bikes, for both you and your spouse.
Now, add MoTow Member Hotel Discounts to the list of MoTow benefits.
All MoTow subscribers will receive complete information about the hotel
reservation program with their annual renewal package.
In the meantime, to take advantage of this new benefit, just go to the benefits list in
the AMA Members Only site. There, MoTow
subscribers will find complete information about the discounts,
including the toll-free phone number to call for reservations, an
internet link to the site for making online reservations, and coupons
you can download and mail in for rebates after your hotel stay.
If you
haven't already registered for Members Only, you can sign up in just a
few seconds using your AMA number and ZIP code.
You can sign up for MoTow online or by calling the AMA Members
Services Center at (800) AMA-JOIN, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through
Friday, Eastern time.
