You can find a local Nationwide agent in your area at the Nationwide website. Or see table below for current availability of coverage.

How does up to 10 percent off your motorcycle insurance sound?

How about a free AMA membership for your friends who aren’t yet AMA members, along with a deal for them on insurance?

How about a stronger, bigger AMA?

Those are all benefits the AMA expects to see from a new partnership with Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. And it all starts with a very tangible benefit for you as an AMA member: more money in your pocket.

The AMA and Nationwide have partnered to make the company the AMA’s “Motorcycle Insurer of Choice,” with plenty of benefits for AMA members.

For its part, Nationwide is gearing up its new motorcycle coverage to go, well, nationwide. Nationwide policies can cover up to 12 motorcycles, ATVs, trikes, sidecars, scooters, snowmobiles, trailers and more.

Best of all, as an AMA member, you already qualify for up to a 10% discount on Nationwide motorcycle coverage.

For many members, the discount will easily be greater than the cost of AMA membership.

The new deal also benefits your Association.

Nationwide agents will also give one-year AMA memberships to new motorcycle policy holders who aren’t already members. More members means more clout for the AMA when representing your interests.

Nationwide is rolling out the program across the country and Nationwide's new motorcycle  coverage will be available in most states in 2006 and many other states in 2007. (See table for current availability.)

The three-year agreement between the AMA and Nationwide also offers the company opportunities to sponsor AMA events.

“We’re proud to be bringing this significant benefit to our members and helping them put some extra money in their pockets,” says AMA Chief Executive Officer Patricia DiPietro. “In addition, we’re pleased to partner with a company that shares our vision of a larger AMA, and a stronger voice for America’s motorcyclists.”

“Our position as the AMA’s Motorcycle Insurer of Choice is one way we’re promoting our new motorcycle coverage,” adds Steve Rasmussen, president and COO of Nationwide Property & Casualty Operations. “We’ve teamed up with the AMA because it’s the country’s largest association of true motorcycle enthusiasts, and that gives Nationwide a clear advantage in a very competitive marketplace.”

See your local Nationwide agent for information about Nationwide motorcycle coverage. You can find an agent in your area at Nationwide.com. In some states, motorcycle coverage is also available from Allied, Victoria and Titan agents.
