KOA offers discount coupons to new and current AMA members

Just in time for camping season, Kampgrounds of America and the AMA are teaming up to save you some cash.

KOA is making 500,000 discount coupons available to current and new AMA members. The coupons are good for a 10 percent discount on stays of up to seven days at one of KOA's 450 locations across the United States and Canada.

“We're looking forward to hosting AMA members at KOAs across North America," said Ken Stellmacher, vice president of Marketing for KOA. “We offer accommodations that motorcyclists enjoy, such as our 5,000 Kamping Kabins, and nearly all our KOAs offer tent sites.”

"We're pleased to offer AMA members this valuable KOA program as part of our member-benefits portfolio," said AMA Chief Executive Officer Patricia DiPietro. "The spirit of adventure is an important part of the American motorcycling experience, and camping is a great way to take full advantage of that experience."

The discount coupons will be mailed to prospective AMA members who request a membership kit and will also be included in membership renewal kits sent to current members.

Beginning June 1, current AMA members can also request a coupon directly by calling the AMA Membership Services Center at (800) AMA-JOIN between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, Eastern time.
