Motorcycle Access Policy

The American Motorcyclist Association finds that restrictions prohibiting the use of motorcycles on roads and in areas open to other passenger vehicles not to be based on rational considerations and therefore discriminatory. The American Motorcyclist Association encourages all motorcyclists to oppose such limitations in all legal manners and in all available forums.

To implement the foregoing, the Board of Trustees of the American Motorcyclist Association further directs the staff of the Association to bring to the attention of the motorcycling community the extent of this growing threat and develop materials to aid and support motorcyclists in effectively opposing these practices.
