Become an AMA-chartered club

Your club can charter with the AMA/ATVA different ways:

Social Club

For enthusiasts who ride together, be it road or off-road, but aren't really structured or geared up to host formal events.

Historic Club

These are clubs who believe in the AMA but do not have the membership anymore and are not active enough to maintain a promoting charter.

Recreational or Competition Promoting Club

Recreational and Competition Promoting Clubs can sanction events and vote for AMA Congress Delegates. They must attend an AMA Risk Management Workshop before holding AMA sanctions.

If you have questions or would like to order these forms by mail, please contact us at: (614) 856-1900 or clubs@ama-cycle.org.
