Davi Millsaps takes Horizon Award as racing wraps up at Loretta's
Maybe the most impressive ride of the week at the AMA Amateur and Youth Motocross National
Championships, sponsored by Air Nautiques, wasn’t for a win. But it was good enough to earn the 2003 AMA Horizon Award.
They're
crowning champions
Friday is the day happy champions begin waving number-one plates in the air at the
AMA Amateur and Youth Motocross National Championships, sponsored by Air Nautiques.
Hot
sunshine, fast racing
A full day of hot sunshine and warm breezes finally made the
track a fast one at the AMA Amateur and Youth National Motocross
Championships on Thursday, and two of the fastest classes put on the best
battles yet of the week.
The
cream rises to the top in mud, too
Every year, the AMA Amateur and Youth National
Motocross Championships run on an intricate and tightly planned schedule.
But this year, Mother Nature has the final word on scheduling.
Changing conditions make for wide-open racing
Sloppy as a pig sty in the morning, fast as Churchill Downs on a
perfect summer day in the afternoon, the track at the AMA Amateur and
Youth National Motocross Championships was the number-one topic of
conversation as racing began Tuesday.
