Tech inspection complete for U.S. contingent; numbers assigned
Oct. 31 – It's official: the U.S. teams are cleared for the 78th running of the International Six Days Enduro, which begins Monday, November 3rd in Fortaleza, Brazil. The majority of the 49-member U.S. contingent completed the process Wednesday, after Brazilian officials delayed the start of the impound process due to a lack of fuel on site. All U.S. riders were impounded by the end of the day yesterday. Several other countries were not as fortunate — as of late Thursday, a number of teams were still waiting for their containers of bikes and parts to arrive and clear customs.
Opening ceremonies are set for Saturday afternoon, with a parade through the streets of Fortaleza. Stay tuned to AMADirectlink for continuing coverage! Related Material:
